5-a-side contact football
Full pads required (helmet, shoulder pads, lower body protection)
50-yard field with 10-yard end zones
Shortened play clock and rapid turnarounds
Every player on offense is eligible to catch or carry the ball
tournament structure
The tournament takes place in a single day, running from the first kickoff to the final under the lights.
8 teams, split into two leagues of four
Each team plays every opponent in their league (3 group games)
Winners progress to the Elite 5s Championship Game
The champions take home the cash prize and the Elite 5s Trophy

how it works
Game Length: Two 15-minute halves (running clock)
Timeouts: 1 per half, no carry-overs
Possessions: Each team alternates starts in group play
Field Position: Drives begin from the team’s own 5-yard line
Scoring: Standard touchdown scoring. 1 point attempts from the 5, 2 from the 10
Tackling: Full contact — BAFA safety standards enforced
Kicking: No kickoffs or punts — all starts are from scrimmage
